OVERVIEW

PS2 CHEATS:

Bounce Trick:
Go to the menu called "other". In there, the age you enter determines how bouncy the girls are - the higher or the more "mature" your age, the bouncier they get.

Big heads:
First, beat the game with any girl. Then at the start screen, press and hold X, Circle, Square, Triangle, and Up.

Control the Victory Cam:
To Control the camera while your character is doing the victory pose, press the green triangle button. You can use the the control pad to move the camera up, down, ect. and use the square button to zoom in and the circle button to zoom out.

Full option screen:
Press start during a game and tap x and triangle at the same time.

New Extra Cars:
Take Midnight Racing Club and save your cars the load them on Smuggler`s Run and you will have extra cars!

Special Cars:
At the title screen press X 10 times, Circle, Triangle, R1, R2. You will now get all the special cars.

See the CG gallery:
Finish team mode using 5 characters.

Unlimited Lives:
At the main menu, hold R2 and press X and triangle. Then start a new game and save it. When you load the game, you`ll have unlimited lives.

Unlimited Ammo:
Go to the main menu and press Up, Down, Down, Up, Right. If done correctly, the screen will shake

Deluxe Credits:
Finish the game with every character in Very Hard Mode. This will allow you to view the deluxe version of the Credits. t`ll contain new music, credits from every Dead or Alive Development team and Website Banners from fan websites.

Expanded Credits:
Successfully complete story mode with all the characters on the very hard difficulty setting

Increased Jubbling:
Enter the options menu, and choose the game setting that allows you to set your age between 13 and 99. Increase your age to see more jubbling.

More Costumes:
even more than four costumes, just keep playing and you will get as many as 8 for some characters. I have not been able to isolate what needs to be done exactly but just keep playing and you will have a lot of cool costumes

Play as Bayman:
Successfully complete story mode with all the characters on the easy difficulty setting to unlock Bayman in all modes except story mode. Alternatively, successfully complete story mode 30 times with any combination of characters.

Play as Tengu:
Collect 10 stars in survival mode to unlock Tengu in all modes except story mode. Alternatively, successfully complete story mode 200 times with any combination of characters.

DREAMCAST CHEATS:

Alternate costumes:
Highlight any fighter at the character selection screen in any mode. You can view how may costumes your character can have to the side. If your character us in the first row, press Analog-stick Up to select the costume. For the second row, press Analog-stick Down . Some characters may have two, three, or four costumes. The costumes can be enabled in any mode .

Additional costumes:
Every character has at least 3 costumes, some as many as 6. To get the extra costumes, complete the story mode with the character (you`ll get one costume each time). This might only work on the `Very Hard` difficulty level.

Clean pause screen:
Press X + Y after pausing the game for a clear pause screen.

Control victory pose view:
When your character is doing their victory pose, hold X and press the D-pad or Analog-stick to move the camera. Hold B to zoom in at your character, then press the D-pad or Analog-stick to move the camera.

Fight in the nighttime Aerial Garden:
Enable level select for versus mode. Highlight The Aerial Garden at the level selection screen, then press Y or R.

Full pause screen:
Pause game play, then press X + Y.

Just Another Taunt:
You can also taunt by pressing Down, Down R also when Bass is fighting Tina he will taunt something else.

Hidden wallpapers:
Put the DOA2 disc into your CD-ROM drive on your computer to find wallpaper images in the Bonus directory.

Original opening:
Use the following steps to unlock the original opening sequence for the game, which features a naked clone of Kasumi. Set your age to "21" in the game options. Then, make a ranking in Survival mode in any position and enter REALDEMO as a name. Once you have saved the game with the new ranking, you can set the age to any desired value.

Play in Aeriel Garden at Night:
First enable the level select for versus mode. Now highlight Aerial Garden and press Y or R.

Secret Arena:
Finish the game on very hard level with each of the 12 characters to unlock a secret arena.

Taunt opponent:
Use the following combos to taunt your opponent.

Press Left, Right, Left, R
Press Right, Left, Right, R
Press Down(2), R
Press Back(2), R

Note: You can also substitute A + X + Y in place of R in the taunts.

XBOX CHEATS:

Alternately, hold Y and move the Left Analog-Stick. After doing this, you may release Y and move the Left Analog-stick and Right Analog-stick as you wish.

Control replays:
Hold A + B + X after winning a match. When the replay starts, press Y to slow it down or go back.

Alternate costume colors:
Press the indicated buttons to select your characters costume and it will change appearance. This works for the following.

Using Zack's third costume (metallic telly-tubby), in survival single mode, light up his antenna, win a few perfect rounds, and obtain more than 25 wins to unlock Bayman's third costume. Note: The Dead Or Alive 3 Booster Disc is required for this to work in the NTSC version of the game.

Christie: Red dress costume:
Choose Christie, then Helena, and fight in tag time attack. Get a cup to unlock Christie's red dress from the introduction sequence. Pressing X will change the color to black.

Ein:
Successfully complete the game with all fighters and play as Hayate in survival mode. Defeat at least three fighters, then enter EIN at the initials screen. Ein will now be unlocked in all modes except for story mode. Note: This also unlocks random character selection.

Ein: Shirtless costume:
Successfully complete time attack mode with Ein in under six minutes.

Gen Fu: Elf costume:
Choose Gen Fu, then Brad, and fight in tag time attack. Get at least a Bronze cup to unlock Gen Fu's elf costume.

Hayate: Third costume:
Get a Gold Trophy in Tag Battle Time Attack as Hayabusa.

Helena: Swimming in Aquarium:
When you first turn on the game, press Start to skip the introduction and get to the title screen with "Press Start". Do not press Start and wait for the game's introduction to begin again. Instead or starting off with the Azuchi, it will start in the Aquarium. You will then see Helena swimming in the large tank in her red bikini.

Hitomi: Schoolgirl costume (PAL version):
To obtain Hitomi's third "Schoolgirl" costume, play survival mode, tag battle, and select Hitomi and Ein (using his third costume?). Obtain more than 30 wins to unlock the costume. Note: The Dead Or Alive 3 Booster Disc is required for this to work in the NTSC version of the game.

Hitomi: Skimpy blue dress costume (PAL version):
Select survival mode, tag battle, and select Hitomi first. then Zack as tag partners. Obtain at least 25 wins to unlock her skimpy blue dress (fourth) costume. Pressing X for the costume removes the small orange jacket she wears over her blue garb. Note: The Dead Or Alive 3 Booster Disc is required for this to work in the NTSC version of the game.

Jann Lee's bouncer costume:
Choose Jann, then Lei Fang, and fight tag time attack. Get at least a Bronze cup to unlock Jann's bouncer outfit.

Kasumi: Alternate hair:
Highlight Kasumi at the character selection screen. Press A to have her hair in a pony tail or X for a long hairstyle.

Kasumi: Schoolgirl costume:
Successfully complete exercise mode in the sparring mode.

Zack: Chrome bodysuit costume:
Defeat twenty fighters in survival mode as Zack to get a third costume (chrome bodysuit with green nuclear atom symbol on chest and antenna on his head)

Zack :Sweatsuit costume:
Choose Hitomi, then Zack and fight in tag team time attack. Obtain a least a Bronze cup to unlock Zack's sweatsuit costume. Note: You may need Zack's third costume, the chrome bodysuit.

Zack: Light up antenna:
After unlocking Zack's third costume, you can make the ball on the end of the antenna glow red by pressing Back, Forward, Back, F + P+ K during a match.

Another way to light up Zack's antenna for his third costume is to press Down(2), Black or Down(2), X + A + B. Yet another way is to make sure that your opponent is on the ground. Then, press Up, (Black or X + A + B) followed by Back, Forward or Forward, Back and (Black or X + A + B).

Taunts:
Each character has at least one taunt. All characters do this with Back, Forward, Back then Black or X + A +B. Some characters have more, such as Hayabusa, Brad, Ayane, and Lei Fang. To do these extra taunts, press Down(2), Black or X + A + B. Another one is done by pressing Forward, Back, Forward (Black or X + A + B). Yet another is done by pressing Back(2), (Black or X + A + B). Note: Only one or two characters have the last two set of taunt moves.

Alternate snow stage appearance:
Select versus or training mode and highlight the snow stage. Press X for a light snow, press Y for a blizzard, or press A for a random effect.

Defeating Omega:
When at the last stage against Omega and he stops shooting at you, get close to him and continuously punch him. Do not worry if he blocks -- eventually he will stop and you will knock him out.

Higher survival mode score:
Collect as many items as possible. Another way to raise your score to live for a long time. You do not need to KO anyone -- if you look at the bottom left, you will notice that the score gets higher.

More survival mode items:
A sneaky way to get more items is to attack them while they are on the ground. Some characters need different buttons. For example, with Tina and Bass press Up and (Black or X + A + B) or Down + A. This is a great method to get Zack's third costume, higher scores, and live longer (since the food heals you).

Theater mode:
Successfully complete the game in story mode to unlock that fighter's entry in theater mode.

Ending credits:
Successfully complete story mode with all fighters. An option to toggle the ending credits will be unlocked on the game settings screen.

Hint: Chest jiggle:
Select multi-player mode and choose tag battle. Select any two characters for the player one then choose any character and Leifang for the player two. Pick any stage to fight in. Fight with Leifang only. When both battles are over. choose any characters at the character selection screen for player one, then a character for player two. Choose any girl character for the second choice for the player two and their chest will jiggle.

Hint: Nude women:
There are three nude women in test tubes in the DOATEC HK stage. You cannot see anything because of the position they are in. To find these girls, look for the window opposite to the one that leads to the street. You should start out near that window. Use a powerful attack to push your opponent through the window. If done correctly, you should now be in a fog filled room. Two of the women will be on one side of the room while the other one is on the opposite side. If you push your opponent into the set of test tubes with one woman, she will stretch her arms and resume her original position.

Hint: Ground attacks:
Each character has many ways of attacking while their opponent is on the ground. To find out how to do these attacks, go to command list and look for the ground attack list. This is very helpful in survival mode. Note: Each character has different ground attacks.

Hint: Finishing poses:
There are many finishing poses that can only be seen by winning a match without getting a single hit. It is recommended that you set the match to two rounds. It should say "Great!" the first time, and "Greatest!" the second time. Note: Each character only has two of these poses.

Hint: Alternate victory poses:
By making certain characters fight, the victory pose may change. For example, if Tina and Bass fight they will sometimes say something different after they win. Note: This does not work with all characters.

Hint: Alternate entrances:
Each character has one entrance that can only be viewed by losing a match against Genra. After continuing, Genra and your character will make their entrance; only this time it will be different.

Hint: Unlocking costumes:
To unlock everyone's third, fourth or fifth costumes (if available), go into survival mode, choose your character and keep fighting until an "X" that is similar to the Xbox logo appears. Collect it and die (or keep fighting). If you quit, it will disappear and you will not get the costume.

Glitch: Hayabusa automatically stands:
As Hayabusa, do the move where you stand on your head. Then have the other player as Kasumi use her Up + A throw. She will jump on him, and he will automatically be standing again.

Glitch: Suicide drop:
While playing as Hayabusa on Lorelei, lure you opponent to where you can kick them off. Do the grab move, where you punch the opponent in the air, jump, then grab him. Hayabusa or Lorelei should punch the opponent then jump off the cliff with the enemy.
